This is a very engaging processes. We will be using a wide range of colorful stain glass, mirror and found objects to make wll hanging, mirrors etc. This class is good for all skill levels. Class fee includes all basic materials. Bring your found objects, cup hooks, etc that you may want to add to your composition. Class fee: 2 week basic $65 or 6 weeks Adventure $170

Learn the Japanese art of braiding but ending with a beaded piece that looks remarkably like bead crochet.. Using a innocent and simple looking tool you will immediately find gratification as your project unfolds. Most importantly you will learn the beginning and endings. Your project will use 2 colors of similar size beads. This technique has the look of a spiral rope or bead crochet. Advanced concepts will be explored such as adding large accent beads.... and THREE WAY BRAIDING not just 4.) You are welcome to bring your lunch or a snack. Class Fee $35.00 plus supplies

Framed Bracelet, 10am-4pm Cindy Moore guest instructor You can construct a bracelet, ring or earrings. Student will first fuse or solder a frame. Design and weave wire and beads onto the frame. Lastly you will gently form the final shape.

Students must bring these REQUIRED MATERIALS to class: Cutter, round nose and flat nose pliers, , flat file or triangle file, work mat, permanent marker ruler and notebook and pen.

Cindy has been working in metal for 18+ years. For the past 14, she has had the opportunity to travel and teach around the country. During that time Cindy also owned and operated a fine arts gallery in Georgia. She teaches a number of techniques including wire weaving, hydraulic press, and cuttlebone casting. She also designs and creates specialty jewelry making tools. Including the Cindy Bender, Cindy's Wire Weaving Kit and others. The Weaver and the Bender were featured in Step By Step Wire in May 2008.

Students must bring these REQUIRED MATERIALS to class: Bench pin with anvil or bench pin and steel block, small ball peen hammer, small center punch, 1 inch flat file #0, small round file, small triangle file, saw frame with #02 blades, sharpie pen, ruler, cross lock tweezers, sheet metal cutting shears, wire cutters, solder pick, medium and easy solder (paste works best), white-out (water based), old toothbrush, tube cutter for small cutting if available.

All students MUST bring a task light or personal lighting and an extension cord/power strip.
