  MosaIcs, 3-5pm
Description:
Mosaics 3-5pm Week #1 Learn to plan and design your peice. Prepare, cut and assemble your assemblage. Week #2 Grout and finish, If your are continuing, you'll begin another project. This is a very engaging processes. We will be using a wide range of colorful stain glass, mirror and found objects to make wll hanging, mirrors etc. This class is good for all skill levels. Class fee includes all basic materials. Bring your found objects, cup hooks, etc that you may want to add to your composition. Class fee: 2 week basic $65 or 6 weeks Adventure $170

Beginning Soldering and Silversmithing 12-2pm
Description:
Learn the basics of working with silver or copper metal. Copper works very much like silver in the way that it solders, forges etc. This session we will begin by making a chain and a toggle clasp. You will learn the techniques for soldering post earrings, incorporating preformed bezel cups to add interest to your work, and learn to solder rings with glass beads without shadderring the glass. Forging will also be coveered as you learn to as interest by forging (hammerring.) All classes are based on learning techniques that add to your knoweldge base, esperience metalsmithing joy resulting from successfully completing jewelry items based on your own designs and my samples and guidance. This class is suitable for people with no metal experience, those who have had metals long ago but, have forgotten, those who have had my class befor but, would like to develop further under my guidance. :) Nancy Materials are extra. $65 class fee for 3 sessions or you may register for 6 classes for $120.

Explore and Review Kumihimo 10-noon
Description:
Explore and Review kumihimo 10-noon with NANCY. There are some new patterns to explore and new ways to use this braid. Learn the Japanese art of braiding but ending with a beaded piece that looks remarkably like bead crochet.. Using a innocent and simple looking tool you will immediately find gratification as your project unfolds. Most importantly you will learn the beginning and endings. Your project will use 2 colors of similar size beads. This technique has the look of a spiral rope or bead crochet. Advanced concepts will be explored such as adding large accent beads.... and THREE WAY BRAIDING not just 4.) You are welcome to bring your lunch or a snack. Class Fee $35.00 plus supplies
